This place is so fun and unique! Great coffee and pastries. The decor and ambience is so fun along with their kind staff.
Really cozy vibe with lots of seating for working or just hanging out. Quality espresso drinks and a great menu of seasonal options as well. Owners are super nice and live in the neighborhood. One of my favorite new small businesses in Covington.
FANTASTIC new place! Incredibly friendly staff. Amazing and cozy vibe. Delicious drinks and locally made pastries. I feel like I've been transported to The Leaky Cauldron (without the butterbeer!) You HAVE to visit! New rewards cards too!! Only downside is paid street parking, but it is fairly inexpensive for the meters.
the cauldron has the BEST coffee in covington, as well as northern kentucky as a whole. I say this with confidence since coming here once a week at minimum since they opened in November. Brittany and Noah are also the sweetest humans ever, they have created such a welcoming space from the moment you reach their doors. this place feels like a warm hug and somewhere proud to be a regular. they are an incredible addition to the covington community and i can’t wait to come here for years to come. p.s. keep an eye out for all the kitty trinkets around the shop.
I really enjoyed my time at The Cauldron Cafe. I went on a Saturday morning and I had to wait in line. My drink and my croissant were wonderful. I really enjoyed the antique decor, especially all the cat things. There was a live band comprised of a bassist and a guitarist. I usually don't like live music in bars and restaurants, as they are too loud. However, the noise level was perfect. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk to others. It was nice background music as I read my book and enjoyed my tea.
My husband, John and I came for a special date with my daughter. This coffee shop had a fun mix of all ages of people and we felt welcome with our one and a half year-old. One of the fun things about the coffee shop is that there’s a lot of miniature kitties hidden around. Our daughter loved trying to find them. There’s also a lovely mixture of antique furniture and we loved the seasonal drinks. We got an iced Matcha and they’re seasonal rosemary and fig latte. We love them so much! You definitely have to try this café out if you’re in the area. People of all ages gathered. It was lovely all around.
This place is so unique! I loved the little faux butterfly garden when you first walk in. The decor is traditional and cozy. Speaking of my oat milk latte, it was fabulous! Their prices are not expensive either. Don’t miss this quaint coffee shop on your stop in Covington, Kentucky!
Absolutely loved this place. I followed them on Instagram before they opened and have been back many times. Really good baked goods and coffee. Some of the flavors are a little more out there, so maybe stick to what you know you like the first few times. And also the cutest dishware.
Amazing coffee shop with great coffee. I’m very particular about my cappuccino and it came out perfectly. My husband had the blackberry and basil latte, which was amazing! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
I really liked it here. They had shirts and flowers for sale. Their seasonal menu was creative. I got their honey salted latte which was great. We also got their egg bacon sandwich which was delicious as well. There is enough street parking around. Seating can accommodate about 25 people it looks like. All the glasses, tables, and chairs look thrifted which I really liked. The pastries also looked amazing. There was about 2-3 seats outside so not much outdoor seating. There are tables with about 6 chairs and others with 1.
